Calling Iraq is very easy. Many service providers have devices to provide long distance call to Iraq without the need for dialing the PIN etc. Once the caller has logged in, he can directly call the required number in Iraq. Similar facility is provided for those who call from that country.
Most of the service providers offer multi-lingual customer service. The languages in which service is provided include Hindi, Urdu, Spanish, English and Bangla. Many long distance call service providers offer special rates and gifts to frequent long distance callers from Iraq and to those who call that country from outside.
Yet another important feature of long distance calling facility in Iraq is that there is facility for automatic top up. Once the balance in the Calling Card reaches a particular limit, the card is automatically charged. Of course, for this purpose the service provider should have been authorized to automatically charge the Credit or Debit Card. The caller is at liberty to withdraw this authority whenever he desires.
Some service providers offer emergency calling facility. This facility is for those who cannot get top up facility but have to make an emergency call. Such persons can call the help line and ask for the facility. He will be provided with urgent top up, but up to a particular limit. The amount will be adjusted against the top up facility he would take later from the service provider.
Like in other countries, there are innumerable service providers in Iraq who offer unique tariff plans. The caller has to choose the one suited to him.
