How Do I Use Call Back?
December 8, 2009
Call back is a wonderful utility in the field of International calling. It is one of the methods to reduce the expense on long distance calls. This facility is available only to those who call through the calling cards.
This facility is used when the caller is on tour. While on tour, if the caller wants to make an international call, he uses this call back utility. In simple terms, call back utility implies initiating the call from a third country where the service is cheaper. It is normally initiated in the United States of America where calling rate is considerably cheaper.
The method of using this utility is very simple. Every caller is given a PIN number (personal identification number). All that the caller has to do is to pick up the receiver and dial the PIN number and then he would replace the receiver. The computer gets activated and it identifies the caller and calls him back and he is connected as if he is calling from United States. Once he is connected, he can make any number of calls without any change in tariff. So, by this he can save considerable amount on his telephone bill. He is automatically disconnected once he hangs up the receiver. Thus, it prevents misuse of the utility by any unauthorized person.
Call back utility can be activated from a land line telephone. It can be activated from mobile by sending an SMS to the calling company. It can also be activated on internet by logging on to the calling company. After logging on, the caller has to identify the telephone number where he would like to be called. The computer recognizes him and he will be called on the desired telephone number.
